Bridging Generations

A practical on-site programme for SMEs navigating an intergenerational workforce.

FormatTwo on-site sessions
Investment£2,500
Designed forSME leadership teams
01 — The Opportunity

Five generations. One workplace.

For SMEs who want to be able to take confident first steps. Grounded, practical and designed to leave your leadership team with clarity and shared understanding on what these workforce changes are going to mean for your particular organisation, and a framework for action to build on — informed by strategic framing and practical enablers.

02 — The Programme

Tailored session design.

Session design takes into account how your leadership team best arrives at a commitment, and will constructively surface any opposing views within the team.

Part I · Leadership

The Leadership Session

3 hrs · senior team

Every organisation and leadership team is different, but here's an example of what we'll cover and discuss in relation to your own situation:

What we'll cover

  • Generational profiles that are actually helpful
  • The key structural shifts and their on-the-ground implications
  • How to balance the generation equation to maximise potential
  • The strategies and practical enablers that will support your business goals (e.g. retaining early-career talent)
Part II · Workshop

The Employee Session

2.5 hrs · mixed-generational team or group of participants

Using the outputs and framework priorities from the leadership session to shape the content, this facilitated and structured session provides the first steps to bringing your employees into the conversation to 'test the water' and get some initial feedback ahead of further roll-out — giving you a repeatable model.

What we'll cover

  • The myths, truths and day-to-day realities of age-diverse working
  • Surfacing different expectations in a healthy way
  • The common ground and opportunity potential
  • Creative activity to generate thinking and ideas
03 — What Makes This Different

This isn't just about having a strategy.

If you want to navigate these new waters successfully, you don't just need strategy — you're also going to need leadership alignment, employee buy-in and effective communication to make it work on the ground. So woven into this programme is added value. With its central focus on intergenerational strategy, it also draws in valuable insight and guidance on how to communicate this and take your people with you.

01

Built for SMEs who want to keep plans real and relevant

No theory, no corporate jargon. Just language that resonates and content that's meaningful to your organisation.

02

On-site, co-creation

Participants think, talk, and work together. That's where the real value happens and momentum begins. You won't take a passive role — and nor will I.

03

Affordable, focused, with you in control

Fixed price. No contract ties. No retainer pressure. Just the opportunity to get this on your organisation's agenda for the right reasons and in the right way.

"This programme is commercially framed — because you're running a business, not a nice-to-have research project."
